Zane's shenanigans
I was told i could sleep in, the reality was, that Kirby suddenly showed up for a cuddle after five hours of sleep … at least one hour more, than i got over the last couple of weeks.
We watched The Lego Ninjago Movie; which made Kirby utter "Shithead" during Garmadon's first attack on the city. He clearly was invested; and it was a surprisingly fun movie, it certainly felt shorter than the Batman one we watched yesterday. Zane's background shenanigans as a robot were hilarious for me.
Kirby asked me, why i despise the 3D Mario games, in this particular case Super Mario Galaxy 2, yet, am able to enjoy Donkey Kong Bananza? I don't have a valid answer to that … perhaps because of Rare's 2,5D Donkey Kong games? Since Mario 64, i can't get a grip on those games. Odyssey i stopped after the desert world. I watched a play through with Kirby once, and while it looked fun, it certainly will be frustrating when i attempt to play through it.
In the evening i had to admit to the Wife, that i can't watch Downton Abbey anymore, because we're nearing the point were Anna gets assaulted, which i just can't stomach. The Wife asked why i didn't tell her when she asked me the first time, to which i replied, that i told her when she asked me if i'm bothered by her watching Downton Abbey, told her the whole thing already, and this time accepted that she doesn't give a shit and bit my tongue; until then.
And Who's the (Bat)Man1 currently is on constant replay in my mental jukebox…
