Bought a floor cupboard, on which we placed the washing machine. Doing the maintenance work is easier with the machine resting 20 centimeters higher; it looks weird though. My Dad came over, and we lifted the machine onto new heights.

So far, i have no idea what to draw for this year's greeting cards for the Nieces. It already was a struggle last year, and i landed on a drawing that happened while trying to sketch with a tablet.

The photo book i started in January won't have enough space for the rest of the year… I'm considering sitting down for a day or two, to put together a digital version i can get a print of. Sequencing is almost worse than choosing photos for print. Being professional probably means not feeling precious about the work, and let go of elements, that don't serve the whole. With this not being a book about a particular topic it seems easy, most of … "the continuity" is being handled by the passage of time, yet, there is the theme of emotions. Some blurred shot of a person is irritating to most people, while it reminds the Wife and me of something.

Kirby got recommended a video, where a group of people built Chen's Island from Ninjago1. I have no idea how the recommending party found that video, the kids are strangely averse towards english. We watched a few minutes, and i'm annoyed by the cuts and "humour". Just give me a time lapse of building the thing, with a few explanations being sprinkled throughout.
