too dreary
The Boss of the catering company summed up parts of the day: "Even too dreary to hang oneself."
It was the last day for a co-worker, tomorrow his retirement starts. We worked together for 19 years. He'll come in on Friday to give back his tools and work clothes, that's when he'll get the money we collected for him. It seems to me, i'll have a hard time with his departure, not sure if it's due to missing him as •)a person •)a co-worker with lots of experience and the ability to think outside the box •)things will change with his departure, and i struggle with change.
Kirby had a lot of fun at Baseball practice. The group was small this week, so the coaches had more time to work in depth. Also, Kirby made a friend who'd like to boulder with him.
Looked through comic solicitations for next year, and found out, that Absolute Martian Manhunter is being continued. The whole Absolute line could fail any day now, with the crossovers within the line and with the main DC universe, still, i'm willing to follow Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter through the mud that will appear one day.
