think of a wrench

The Baseball tournament happened.

Getting up and ready to go was easier than i had anticipated, due to the Wife having prepared everything so exceptionally well, that Kirby and i didn't even come near any situation where we could have thrown a wrench in a gear. Those gears were locked away, and our wrenches imaginary—hmmm, can a Tulpa1 be an object too?

The world was covered in a thick layer of mist when we left. It was weird not being able to tell where the bus was going, by looking out the window.
The venue was amazing. Built in the 60s with the idea of being a place where humans can be better, it stood in defiance of the present; which was the vive the tournament had. Everyone seemed to enjoy their time there, play a game, take a break—from the game, all those kids where rushing through the place all the time, play again, lunch, making plans to blow up a vending machine and grab a few sweets; kids stuff.
Two teams ran on a different clock though, they also had a massive number of fans which sounded like a viking raiding party, and played the crowd control game like seasoned pros.
There were three accidents, all of them looked worse than they actually were, two of them involved Kirby.
I took a camera with me, and when i got it out at the venue realised, i forgot to ask, if i could borrow one of our zoom lenses from work. So i worked with my 35mm equivalent lens, until i remembered my phone cameras focal lengths. From then on, i continued with the phone camera, turning off everything else to preserve as much battery life as possible. I wonder if i could use a 50mm equivalent and photograph the whole thing Ozu style.

We came home knackered. Kirby asked if i would let him play Mega Man X with infinite health. We both fell asleep fast.

I felt bad … the interaction with the other people was taxing. The jokes that were made about me throwing the coach a water bottle … at the end they asked if someone would come down to help with taking a group photo and grabbing the teams stuff, my legs reacted before my brain, and suddenly i felt all the eyeballs on me. They weren't, i know, still, seeing how the Wife had a good time with the other people while i tried to maintain a distance … it wasn't pleasant for me.
At least, i brushed up on my knowledge of the ruleset.
