Sword of Omens
Talked with my Dad about Kirby's interesting set of questions from yesterday1, and if he ever asked him similar things. Nope, he hasn't asked anything that peculiar, they do some light boxing training—i always forget my Dads boxing period, he never performed in an actual match, but trained to bulk up and improve his coordination before he continued playing soccer.
Went to the Oculist with Kirby, and the tests came to the conclusion: yes, he needs glasses; yes, he's currently compensating for his bad sight, and at some point, the processing power and attention needed for that will have an impact on school. Yet, the Oculist wasn't convinced, that forcing Kirby to wear his glasses is a long term solution, we have to ease him into the habit. So we got a prescription for a less strong set of glasses, that'll bridge to path to uncompensated sight—sight beyond sight.
Kirby was great, the drive to the Oculist was long and tiresome due to traffic shenanigans that had an impact of a large chunk of public transport, and despite that hassle, he remained calm and attentive during the examination, which took some time to determine the best strength for the intermediate glasses.
Got the steelbook of the 4K release of Tron Legacy. Should have bought the regular edition, because that cover sucks … also, i read, on Disney+, the Imax sequences have been cropped to 2:35.1 or whatever the standard aspect ratio of the movie is. Hopefully not here…
Managed to reach the end of the Perplexus Rebel's ball path2, the last few paths were "easy", due to the middle parts keeping one engaged.
