My chronic illness said Hi, and i did not have the opportunity to close the door on it. I'd like to leave this body. It saddens me, that it seems i'm beyond help.
Had a meeting with Kirby's teacher, at which he was also present. I have no idea why he was so nervous, he's a regular pupil, who has his ups and downs.
Picked up the latest of the Asterix Omnibus editions, so i have present ready for my Dad when the next occasion to give him one arrives.
Hmmm, after Transformers no.26 i'm not sure if i'll continue reading the comic. Thundercracker and Sideswipe's story was great to behold, the MASK subplot however … remember when IDW tried to establish a Hasbro shared universe? This begins to smell like it.

What i enjoy at the moment is the latest Ultimate line from Marvel. Wolverine isn't that great, and i haven't read Black Panther and X-Men yet, Spider-Man, Incursion, and The Ultimates are enjoyable.
Got my hands on a Joy Toy figure, April O'Neil. Those are very well made, and i'm getting an appetite for Krang—who's robot body looks like a hollowed out senior—; but the scale … while they look amazing, they are also amazingly small.
On the other hand, Mondo is releasing an amazing Donatello figure1—the Ninja Turtle, not the sculptor—in the 1/6th scale, which probably is easier to manufacture with that level of details, and too large for our shelves. And of course there's the price, which probably wouldn't be that much lower in a smaller scale.
