Pirates' Sid Meier

New work boots, yeah; new model/company, shit. It wasn't as bad as i anticipated, the soles are a tad higher than the old ones, which caused me to scrape my heels at the pavement a few times, and almost falling over the first time i did it, due to confusing the sensation with being stuck on an obstruction. Let's see.

While i did some housework i listened to an old comedy album from Alexander Bisenz, which was a pleasant surprise. Since listening to it years ago i forgot, this record was the nucleus of my interest in local politics and imitating voices.
Later i serviced a few fountain pens. I cleaned them a few days ago, and forgot about them. They got a fresh coat of silicone grease and inked them up with Pilot Black.

Picked up Kirby in the evening, he was on a stroll with my Mum-in-law. We decided to do his homework tomorrow morning, and spent the remaining time with supper and watching part of a play through of Sid Meier's Pirates!1; during which we found out, there is a version of the game with modern graphics2. Afterwards we talked about Pirates, how our romantic views of them don't fit with historical facts and how it evolved and is practiced today.

Interestingly, i was overstimulated the whole day. Having nothing to do would be nice … my brain will find something to dig into, or pull out something from a drawer, until then, i'll dream of taskless times.
