Dispatches from Asteroid Hopkins

While we were out shopping for groceries, Kirby took a look at the Hot Wheels display in the store. He found a version of Twin Mill that is covered in braille, from packaging to the car itself; which is called Braille Racer1. We both were tempted to buy it, because we liked the idea, and decided against it, due to having stretched our fun budget enough already.
Kirby watched a few episodes from the 2012 TMTN animated series, and when it came to the part, where April trains with Splinter, and they talk about his family, Kirby turned around and said »Karai surely is Splinter's daughter.«. He cracked TV.
For a change, Kirby read to me.
Venom and Doc Ock had an argument. dockock Later i ran across a play through of Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage2; which i never played. The comic is one of my »core memories«, despite its … quality; it has Cloak and Dagger in it, and i have a soft spot for them. The video game is a distillation of the comic, a big mess, with an added pinch of LJN's wrestling games. Setting the whole thing up as a brawler is intuitive, yet, makes the whole thing feel like one of those things you eat, and seem to expand while chewing. It was another time, and we took what we got—or in my case did not.

Been wearing my Kamen Rider cap for the last couple of days. I forgot how calming it is for me, to wear a beanie or a cap indoors.
