Dispatches from Asteroid Hopkins

Kirby and i played a bit of Mega Man 3, X, and X2; with the cheats on. Otherwise we wouldn't have come past the menu screen.

The workday was easier than i had anticipated—even getting up at 3:00. The production people were weirdly forthcoming. Nice people, something i'm not used to.
I found an electric wire cutter among the new tools that arrived this week. It's powered by Makita 18V batteries, and of course, i gave it a test run without a cutting medium; and while i watched the blade being moved by the gears i thought "Dick or balls?".
I'm glad, we connected the new pumps that were delivered this week, with the strong rain that started in the wee hours of the day, we would have had sections of the venue swimming.

Got the new cursive font1 that Kirby will learn to write in later this school year. This one looks cleaner than the one i learned—and lost the ability to write in over the years. I decided to drop practicing it, when i attended technical college, it made note taking impossible. And in hindsight, improved my overall handwriting.
Even tough i see Prima as cleaner, easier legible, and i hope this makes sense, it also takes away the whimsical nature of the font i learned. With Prima, everything loos like a manual, cold and matter of fact, while the old style, gave the text flamboyance. Or in my case, bad grades.
