Dispatches from Asteroid Hopkins

absurdism

It was interesting to witness how low the self esteem of my colleagues and me is. We got in a task to be done in an hour, managed to get it done in 30 minutes, but were sure we had about five minutes left.

Kirby and i spent the later afternoon to early evening together, due to the Wife being at a doctor's appointment—everything's fine, false alarm. Kirby wanted to play Asterix & Obelix: Mission Babylon, even if it costs him his screen time on one of the days of the weekend. ain bed we read Margo Maloo1, which, to my surprise, he enjoyed.
While i prepared his supper, he sat on "my spot" at the dinner table, reading one of the other books he brought home from the library. In that moment, i couldn't believe my involvement in bringing him into the world. It's such an absurd thought.
