undisturbed
Picked up Fairy and Kirby from the train station. Kirby ran towards me with such strength, i assumed he would move through my frame. I managed to catch him without landing on my arse by bringing said center of gravity as low as possible, and carry a heavy rucksack.
He educated me about the Axolotl living »suspended« in its first stage of development -- and that the little horns are its gills. He wants one as a pet because he likes their happy faces. An Axolotl can live up to 20 years; a commitment indeed.
Also, Woodpeckers have incredibly long tongues; and the tongues of Giraffes are so dark due to them being covered in a lot of melanin to protect them from sunlight. Hopefully that kid never loses its enthusiasm for learning new things.
In the lobby of the train-station Fairy pointed out that there was a turd a few metres in front of the entrance/exit. The piece of matter lay there undisturbed in its completeness despite the mass of people moving about. I'm sure sooner or later someone stepped on that landmine, but i can't help myself these days, and see it as a performance piece in defiance.
The last time i witnessed this was, when i worked at a Red Hot Chili Peppers gig. While my colleague and i picked up our equipment from the audience area, one of the guys from the maintenance crew called us and a few others over, and showed us an undisturbed pile of feces. »Just think about it.« he said »The odds of us getting hit by something someone from the rigging crew drops on us just increased by a large number.«
