trucking & building
Kirby and i started building an Astro Boy model-kit.
Those are my big weak spot; it starts with me being unable to get the pieces out of the runners without any marks--got a kit with a glass file and polishing stuff to make those easier on the eyes--, and painting is my big achilles heel. The parts are molded in an appropriate colour and the light up parts will surely take away from the fact, that i did the bare minimum.
Kirby lost his focus rather quickly, but always came back to look at the progress.

Yesterday we went to a Hot Wheels Monster Truck show. Of course it was a big toy promotion that only supplied the bare minimum of entertainment--the theme of this entry--, yet Kirby dug it due to it being the first time seeing cars getting smashed by bigger cars. Of course he got a toy at the end and some popcorn--we ordered a small serving, and got the largest small serving i cam
upon so far, perhaps because we gave a tip?
During one of the many parts of padding in the show. i imagined future people or visitors wandering through the remnants of our lives, finding out what we did for entertainment, and then declare our demise as rightfully and painstakingly brought on by ourselves.

Earlier, we went out for unsupervised softball practice. I was thrilled about Kirby hitting an average of four out of ten balls thrown, and that i got better at »pitching«.
