self repair protocoll
Kirby had an appointment with a doctor from the social assistance office. His teacher told us that we should send his diagnosis, and get helped with funding part of the cost of his occupational therapy. We probably won't get anything due to Kirby being very well reflected about the state, and where the focus of his attention lies at the moment. And he had none of his meltdowns during the examination.
I was looking forward to a lonely day at work after the onslaught of human interaction i had since Monday. The silence ended early, as soon as i set up in the director's booth, one of the trainees called, and asked if she could work with me to get away from the unlikeable co-worker. So she came over, and complained, and we went to our Union representative, who already knows that there are problems, and is in the process of setting up a mediated meeting. That was the theme of the work day, complaining while working, something i didn't want to do.
Found the band Henge, their distorted sound is amazing. Self Repair Protocoll and DNA are good songs to start—the latter being linked to in the widget below.
Before going to bed, i watched a video about the port of Street Fighter Alpha 2 for the Super Nintendo1; which i believed to be a Romhack/Fan made game. Capcom went out of their way to make that thing work.
And of course, there is a history i have with that game: Before our trade test, our class had three weeks time for preparation. Of course i used the time to prepare myself, most of the time i used to piss of my then girlfriend, and played Street Fighter Alpha 2 like the world ended after the three weeks—which it kind of did, which is another story. I became surprisingly adept without noticing it; when i met for a virtual brawl with a bandmate, who was Mr. Beat'em up at the time, i wiped the floors, walls, and ceilings with him, and every other person who joined us over the course of the evening.
And managed to pass the trade test—i could have been better, at school i mean.
