nuclear cab ride
To prepare for the long day, i tried to sleep longer; my body however wasn't in the mood to stay in bed for longer than it thought was necessary. The desired sleep became an in-between state consisting of light dreaming and checking the time.
Kirby wanted to try if his Lego-adjacent train is able to drive around the room without tracks; which it did. We steered it by giving the front wheel suspension a nudge in the direction we'd liked it to move. Reminded me of the train in shows like Kamen Rider Den-O and Ressha Sentai ToQger1.
Lunch was a chore. Kirby doesn't like any dips, condiments or sauces with his food, and even after washing off all traces of it he said »The fluid had enough time, to be absorbed into the deeper layers of the food item.« You just started school, when did you have time to learn about the fluid absorption capabilities of food?
I stayed longer at work and helped a colleague with disassembling. When we checked the gordian knot that our Powerlock cables were woven into by the production, their electrician appeared behind us and from the looks of it, i assumed he was thinking we were about to turn off power; instead he apologised for them making a mess, asked me to give his best to the colleague who worked the morning shift, and wished us a good morning.
I fell on my ass trying to climb a shipping container to unplug a cable.
Production payed for a cab fare, my driver this morning lectured me on the topic of how we're all going to die in nuclear armageddon once russia is really pissed off, and the survivors will be chinese slaves.
Kirby asked me to sleep in his bed when i'm home, and he was glad i was there, to accompany him to the toilet.
I'd recommend ToQqer, it's done in 52 episodes, while Den-O becomes a chore after a while; not even the great Momotaros can change that.↩
