Dispatches from Asteroid Hopkins

no meat today

Kirby sorted through his stuff and tidied up his room, so we can fit a workbench under his bed; Kirby wants to learn how to work with wood after he saw photos of a chair built by a kid from his baseball team.

Had to run an errand, and on the way, came by a large newsagent's where i looked for the latest issue of Fleisch1. The whole setting with all the colours and people arranged in a space that is too large for the few wares they offer didn't help. Buuut, in that retail whirlwind i found an issue of the german translation of The Phantom comics, which is said to be good. So i grabbed that one.

Kirby went ice skating with friends of us and their kids. They had a good time—the kids spent three hours straight in the ice—, and Kirby was enthusiastically relaying tales of the Tomy Screball Scramble2 ball paths he got presented with over the year.now they're hooked up to one another and thoroughly enjoyable. Of course Kirby asked if he could buy them too, which, at the moment, isn't something he can afford, which he was upset about; not as much as one might think, more silent sadness than YOU'RE THE WORST PARENTS IN THE WORLD, DON'T YOU SEE MY SUFFERING, THIS WON'T HELP MY GRADES! I want to buy them too, i know one from my days at Kirby's age—i'd also like like to get Donkey Kong Country Barrel Adventure3 and Super Mario Great Adventure4.

I dig them Mutant Mayhem figures.
