keep on keeping on
We went ice skating. Kirby became crazy fast since the last time i've been with him on the ice; back then he wasn't as enamoured about skating when we reached the venue and we spent most of the time looking at more talented people practicing before going for a few rounds on the outdoor track. This time he was more enthusiastic, and i was impressed how well he kept his balance--and when he landed on his wee arse, he got up and kept on keeping on, even though i told him that he can tell me when he has enough. I wanted him to spend some active time without starting to hate it; that's what my parents did.
I was sure to to have my legs, back and … lower core ache afterwards, to my surprise, nothing did.
I did it wrong, didn't i?
Because we had the opportunity, we used the fries vending machine in the venues canteen. Takes six minutes to prepare a small serving, that comes with ketchup and/or salted. Kirby said they were not the worst fries he ate and liked that they were crispy on the inside as well.
Later we cut my hair. Usually i go bald and let the whole business run without supervision until it bothers me, this time we did something new. We sheared hair off, but only at the sides--i have no idea how that's called or if someone even bothered to name it … like the pilot from Star Trek - Strange New Worlds, we got rid of more hair on the sides though. Takes a bit to get used to, i promised to let it rest until the end of the year. Good thing i'm almost always wearing something on my head this time of the year.
