Dispatches from Asteroid Hopkins

Honor Guard

We went out to get some books for Kirby to further his reading skills. To my surprise, he choose a collection of Good Night stories from Erwin Moser, who he already digs. We read through a quarter of the stories, which are all one and a half pages long. We also grabbed a copy of the smaller release of Atlas of human anatomy and surgery by JM Bourfeet & NH Jacob. Kirby often asks how organs look, he prefers medical illustrations to actual pictures.
Planned on buying a pair of shoes, turned around as soon as i entered, loud music, three sales-people standing in the doorway like an honor guard.

Started playing Arkham City1, and while i don't appreciate how women are treated in the story, i dig certain moments; like when Batman and Bane meet. The player might assume, they will start exchanging blows when Bats mentions running Bane over with the Batmobile in Arkham Asylum, Bane acknowledges this, and points out that it was a calculated move from Batman, knowing that it would only incapacitate him.
One thing that i don't appreciate, is the sheer amount of things happening at once: rescue political prisoner, track Azrael, solve/find all the Riddler stuff, track Zsas, Tommy Eliot is doing stuff in there, Deadshot, Scarecrow, while the world grew, it feels like Arkham Broomcloset.
