hell is other people (and of course myself)
Looking at Asterix: Mission Babylon1 reminded me of The Lost Vikings2. Kirby didn't seem impressed. Have to dig it out again someday, we played it as a group back in our schooldays.
Work was … what am even doing here? When asking one of the co-workers, who were present when the emergency light control unit gave up on functioning, to bring me up to speed on the situation, he confessed to having no clue. So i did some detective work. I have to scold myself for, in the process, overlooking that part of the stair lights did not work; thankfully, that was fixed by putting the lights on another power supply. Good thing they were planned with the reserve to power all of the lights in the case two of the three ever ceased function.
Still, i'm mad at the co-worker. Why doesn't he get a raise? He cares shit about the work, only that he gets ample time to eat whatever stinking stuff he gets in the loudest way possible.
A colleague from rehab got into an education program for kids to the age of six. Seems like she's enjoying the occupation.
A friend got layed off, she starts in another job in January 2026, the process of getting it was a gruelling experience; like here, everybody wants the best, and pay for the rest.
