Wool socks are the answer. I got a pair as a present and put them to the test, and have become a convert. My feet were kept warm without feeling sweaty; they are slippery, no matter the surface—well, perhaps not on concrete—, but that is something i'll adjust to.
Due to public transport becoming unreliable outside office hours, we started walking to school with Kirby. He wasn't excited about the prospect of walking for 20 minutes—why?!—, once we were on the way, we talked about all the things that came to his mind, he still complained about walking, but didn't stop.
After PE a few kids made fun of the clumsiness of another pupil; Kirby told them … to fuck off. Two of them apologised, one didn't. Wonder if we get summoned.
The bigger brother in-law and the younger nephew came over, and took with him a few books and toy cars.
I had a night shift, managed to read through a few news magazines.
