drawing universes

Mike Mignola: Drawing Monsters1 was eye opening. It's amazing which doors Hellboy opened for so many people; even Rebecca Sugar got advice from Mike Mignola for Steven Universe2. I wonder if the Mignola Brothers are aware how similar to their Father they seem to have become — i guess they do. Somehow i've never seen Mike Mignola himself — i've seen the first Hellboy movie, so i theoretically seen him in his cameo appearance —, and seeing him at this point in time, it seems, he's always ready to dish out DIY advice from his looks, yet it looks like he's in his natural habitat in his library.

Also started watching Midas Man3, two-thirds in, i can't say if i like it or not. It's about Brian Epstein, and how be became the manager of The Beatles and lead them to what they became.

During the Ultrasound the attending Doctor recommended me to have someone take a look at my prostate. He didn't laugh when i asked if by someone he means anybody interested or rather a person with experience, preferably a medical degree.

Kirby looked through a comic catalogue and discovered Lewis Trondheim's Aurore et l'Orc, which got a german release via Reprodukt4. As always, i couldn't resist and bought a copy; i never liked to read until i started reading comics when i was nine, which helped me to built the patience for reading books.
