Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight1 is a combination of the Lego Batman video games combined with the Arkham series. I have no idea how to feel about this. It doesn't seem to be for kids, rather a constant winking eye for adults, who probably are the target audience. And now i realize, the other Marvel and DC games work the same way, they are designed for adults, and then tuned so you could hand them to kids—and the underlying machine is suffering because of it.
We went out for a stroll around the neighborhood. Kirby used his scooter, which was a joy to look at; he was fast, precise, considerate and attentive.
Built a few Lego things with him, and experienced something a haven't in a while: One never finds the Lego part he needs at the moment, but always a good workaround. Frustrating, yet, it nourishes creativity.
While talking about R/C vehicles, we found TMNT branded skateboards, which are controlled by a sort of trackball, which seemed interesting. I wonder how long the battery lasts, and if it is possible to replace it.
In the evening, a member from the rehab group needed a few kind words after a talk with a friend of hers, who told her about how busy she is. The member felt robbed of self worth at that moment, not being able to achieve a tenth of the things she was just told by her friend. In the process i got frustrated, due to almost no one in the group being able to accept the nice words that were said, and accepting oneself with all one's perceived errors and shortcomings. They're on their way, and it needs time. The path to where we are now, wasn't a sprint. And i know from my story, how often i woke up to find myself at a corner i thought i had passed already—and still do; it feels like there is no patience for this anymore, not from the walkers themselves or the people supporting them or onlookers.
I was also mad, due to two members of the group ignoring my circumstances, that led me to a panic attack i. I can't use scented oils, further input is only aggravating me, which they couldn't register and accept.
