Dispatches from Asteroid Hopkins

My Parents clearly start to adjust to retirement; instead of replacing their trampoline with another one, that, due to it's size can't be a health risk to anyone, they set up a … palace of bounce. It comes with a ladder. Kirby and the Gang are going to freak out.

Bought a copy of the HeroQuest reboot from a family we were close with during Kirby's kindergarten days. They played two times and lost interest. My copy of the classic game left my life for the same reason; alongside its spiritual sequel StarQuest1 — known as Space Crusade in english speaking countries. I regret it to this day; the things we do when we find out our dongs are made for more than peeing…
Anyway, i hate, hate, the new artwork. The game is not primarily made for nostalgic geezers like me — we got the name and basic premise —, it does lean an inch to much into evoking a videogame, doesn't it?

Look at the muscularity

Watched 1st Kiss2, a time travel story about a divorcee trying to prevent her former husband's death. It leans toward a lighter, more hopeful tone in the middle and i was afraid what that would do to the ending. It got the »right« ending, at least as far as i'm concerned. Doesn't mean i'm happy with it.
It gets two thumbs up from me.

Gimme all your longing

The last couple of days it felt like my depression was doused in gasoline, alongside my chronically inflamed innards. All this on top of my aching legs.
